FAQsOur most Frequently Asked Questions from business owners like You
Do you ever serve two businesses within the same niche simultaneously?
As a matter of professional ethics, we do not normally serve two businesses in the same niche at the same time.
For example, let’s say we are working on a project to rank a family dentist in Naples, Florida. If another family dentist in the same town wants to hire us for the same services, we will have to refer our client’s market competitor to another trusted SEO marketing expert.
The exception to this would be if the two dentists specialize in different realms and wish to rank for separate and distinctive keywords. In this case, we would only work for both businesses with the mutual consent and permission of both parties involved—to avoid any possible conflict of interest.
How long will it take to get my website ranked?
This depends on many different factors—to include the current ranking of your website, the keywords you want to rank for, and how competitive these keywords are.
We call this the “weight of the move.” The greater the weight of the move, the longer it will take. On the lower end, we’re looking at six months. For the heaviest moves, it could take 14 months or even longer.
This may seem like a long time, but this is part of what makes our work so effective and enduring. As the Amish say, “A barn that goes up fast, comes down fast.” We approach getting your website ranked with the same cautious and deliberate philosophy.
There’s only one way for us to determine a realistic timeframe to get your website ranked–for a thorough analysis (it’s free) of your website, please provide us with the information we need to get started.
Do you only serve local businesses in Naples, Florida?
Are you easy to hire?
We are easy to work with, our clients tell us. But not so easy to hire.
Why not? Because we are selective about the clients and projects we commit to. We only work on projects that interest us and we feel we can do better than other SEOs you can hire.
Also, we’ve kept our company lean. We do all the SEO ourselves and do not outsource this work. So, we can take on only a limited number of projects at any one time. Once our schedule is full, you may have to wait, and current clients get priority over new ones.
What is the difference between Organic vs. Paid Traffic?
Organic results are the results that appear in search engines, for free, based on the search engine’s algorithm.
Paid — or inorganic — search results appear at the top or side of a page. These are the links that advertisers pay to appear on different search engines. Their positioning on the search engine results page is more favorable based on how much the company is willing to pay per click or impression.
Do you ever do pro-bono work for non-profit organizations?
I've been burned by "SEO specialists" before. How do I know you're the real deal?
The vast majority of our clients are business owners who have already shelled out a lot of money for “SEO services” and have been burned. They were promised results that the “expert” they were paying simply could not achieve—or may have actually made worse.
In some cases – Google had penalized their website, due to some sketchy “black hat” tactics. So, they were actually paying money to see their website disappear from the Google results completely!
Then, they find us (usually through Google or word-of-mouth referral) and give us a call. That’s when we step in and take care of business.
Two recommendations if you are looking to find out more about our credibility:
First, please check out our testimonials page and read the great feedback we have received from business owners all over the United States.
Next, you can Google “Naples SEO”, “SEO Naples”, “Reputable Naples SEO Company”, “Riptide SEO”, and any other keywords you can think of with “Naples” and “SEO.” Chances are, you’ll find us at #1 in the Google Map Pack, the organic search results, or likely both.
If you don’t call us now… you’ll probably be calling us in a few months. (Don’t say we didn’t warn you!)
What kinds of clients do you normally work with?
We work exclusively with businesses that are already active, healthy, and reputable. Our services are for companies have a steady flow of leads and customers and are simply looking to take their business to the next level.
This means that you’re getting consistent traffic and making sales. You’re running ads, you’re promoting, and you’re selling your services. You are present in your market with a good, solid product and a respectable reputation.
Everything we do together will bring you more sales and revenue… in a way that creates substantial goodwill in your market.
Are there any types of clients you won't work with?
What is your process?
Do you do the work yourself, or outsource it?
We do all the SEO work in-house. It needs to be done right, and nobody out there does it better than we do.
That said, we approach marketing holistically. If we determine that a client’s project requires exceptional support outside the scope of our agency’s expertise, we will call the brilliant specialists in our Rolodex.
For example, with highly-technical content writing, we may recruit the help of a content writer whose expertise is in that specific professional field. Your website must demonstrate your credibility, and we want to make sure your content is meticulous in all the right ways.
Do you do web design as well?
We will take on web design jobs on a case by case basis. Let us know what sort of website you have in mind and we will discuss whether this is something we would be willing to take on.
In many cases we are willing to work with your web designer to ensure your website is properly configured so that we can optimize it for the search engines, and customer conversion.
What are your rates?

What is the best way to reach you?
Is it true that you only do SEO work on WordPress websites? What if my website isn't WordPress?
That’s correct – we only do SEO on WordPress CMS (Content Management System) platforms. Over one-third of the websites that exist in the world today are powered by WordPress. From a functionality and security standpoint, WordPress is unbeatable.
If your current website is not built with WordPress – don’t worry. We can convert your website to WordPress safely and easily, with no noticeable change to your website’s appearance. The conversion process happens offline, and will interrupt your website online for no more than ten minutes when we ultimately make the switch.

Therefore, we must carefully select the clients we work with. We base our decisions on a reasonable set of criteria to determine whether this will be a lucrative investment for you, and a worthy commitment for us.
